Police have visited a household on the centre of a dine-and-dash scandal, a restaurant proprietor allegedly focused within the string of incidents has claimed.

On Monday police confirmed an investigation had been launched after companies claimed one group of individuals had been racking up massive food and drinks payments and leaving with out paying.

Tyrone Reese, who co-owns the newly opened Bella Ciao Italian restaurant in Port Talbot, close to Swansea, claimed officers had visited the dine-and-dashers at their tackle.

Talking on BBC Radio 2’s Jeremy Vine present on Monday, he stated: “We all know who they’re, the place they stay and all the pieces about them.”

He added: “I consider police have been to the tackle, and have contacted us this morning to say they have been going to take the issues additional.”
