Gotta go? These I-5 rest areas in Thurston County will close in May, WSDOT says

Vacationers planning to make use of the Maytown or Scatter Creek relaxation areas on Interstate 5 in Thurston County might want to make different preparations, the state Division of Transportation introduced.

Crews will shut the restrooms and grounds to finish quite a few initiatives upfront of the busy summer season journey season, in accordance with the state.

The southbound Maytown relaxation space will shut from midnight Tuesday, Could 7, till midday Thursday, Could 9.

The northbound Scatter Creek relaxation space will shut the next week from midnight Tuesday, Could 14, till midday Thursday, Could 16.
