Moscow police captain tabbed for new chief

Mar. 29—Moscow Mayor Artwork Bettge plans to nominate Moscow Police Capt. Anthony Dahlinger as the following chief of police for the Moscow Police Division.

Bettge introduced his resolution Thursday afternoon. The appointment must be authorized Monday by the Moscow Metropolis Council. Dahlinger would change Chief James Fry, who will retire April 30. Fry is operating for Latah County sheriff on this yr’s election.

Dahlinger has been with the Moscow Police Division for greater than 12 years and has almost 17 years of expertise in regulation enforcement, in response to a metropolis of Moscow information launch.
