Orlando man charged in October 2022 crash on I-75 that killed three and injured five

A truck driver accused of leaving a fiery wreck on Interstate 75 that killed three individuals and injured 5 others final 12 months has been recognized and arrested.

Billy Lee Kieffer faces three counts of fail to cease/stay at crash involving demise, 5 counts of fail to cease/stay at crash involving damage/different severe bodily damage, and one depend of leaving the scene of a crash involving harm to property.

In the meantime, a Dodge Ram 3500 pickup truck was northbound within the heart lane of I-75, and a Chevy Tahoe was northbound within the left lane.

Authorities mentioned Kieffer’s automobile failed to keep up its lane and entered the middle lane. His trailer’s left aspect hit the fitting aspect of the opposite semitractor-trailer, which pressured it into the left lane, the place it struck the Subaru.
