A Corridor County man was arrested Halloween evening on excellent warrants for violent crimes he’s accused of committing in opposition to a member of the family earlier that month.
On Oct. 7, deputies with the Corridor County Sheriff’s Workplace responded to a late-night incident on the residence of Joseph Omar Mendoza, 31, within the 800 block of Lancaster Drive.
Investigators say Mendoza grabbed the lady’s hair and pulled her to the bottom.

They are saying Mendoza then assaulted the 28-year-old lady by grabbing her across the throat, leaving purple marks and bruising on her neck.
She was then capable of escape.
Deputies went to his residence and weren’t capable of find him.
The subsequent day they obtained arrest warrants for him.

On Tuesday, Oct. 31, deputies arrested Mendoza within the 700 block of Spring Road in Gainesville on excellent warrants for felony aggravated assault and misdemeanor easy battery, each underneath the Household Violence Act.
As of Friday, Mendoza remained within the Corridor County Jail with out bond.
The Corridor County Sheriff’s Workplace stated the accidents obvious in his mug shot occurred earlier than his arrest.
