Major search underway as man ‘falls overboard’ on cruise ship off Ramsgate coast

Rescue groups are looking out a part of the English Channel for a person who’s believed to have fallen overboard from a cruise ship off the coast of Kent.

Lifeboats and Coastguard crews have been despatched to an space of the channel close to Ramsgate after receiving studies the person fell in on Sunday morning.

Based on Cruise Mapper, the AIDAperla is an Italian-flagged vessel whose dwelling ports are in Hamburg, La Romana within the Dominican Republic, Bridgetown in Barbados and Rotterdam within the Netherlands.
