Raiders defensive lineman Jerry Tillery was ejected on Sunday for a late hit on Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert. Von Miller has put out a warning to any opposing defensive gamers tempted to hit Payments quarterback Josh Allen that late.
Miller praised Herbert’s teammates for speeding to his protection, and Miller stated that if anybody hits Allen that late, Miller himself will in all probability get ejected due to the way in which he’d react.
“Justin Herbert was late hit on the sideline and the entire staff got here to his protection,” Miller stated on his VonCast podcast. “If that was a receiver, it is perhaps totally different. If that was a operating again it is perhaps totally different. However a quarterback, that is simply ridiculous to go over and hit the man like that. You’ll be able to’t do stuff like that on the sideline. If that was Tom Brady, they might have suspended him. To see the entire staff come to his protection, that is what you are purported to do. If somebody hits Josh Allen like that, I am getting kicked out of the sport. I am not gonna let none of that fly, man.”
Miller, who has spent the final 10 months rehabbing from a torn ACL, expects to make his season debut on Sunday in opposition to the Jaguars in London. And he’ll be able to take care of it if any Jaguars take any photographs at Allen.
